Jon Altringer: On the Courts, In the Game. Committed to Investment.
– Jon Altringer: Courtside Visionary. Investing in Potential.
The court is Jon’s domain. From US state-level triumphs to Australian coaching transformations, he’s lived the game. Yet, his vision transcends boundaries. He sees sport as an investment—in athletes, programs, and infrastructure.
Through the PECS lens—Physical, Emotional, Cognitive, Social—he transforms athletes. His relentless “Are you doing your reps?” isn’t just about training; it’s about crafting the very foundation for their future success, beyond the sport.
Wheelchair basketball, inclusive programs, and his qualifications as a Tennis Australia Development Coach and Basketball Australia Coach—these are his investments. Jon’s a player, coach, and investor, committed to a sporting world where everyone wins.
What we do
Uniting the physical, emotional, cognitive and social (PECS) states for each person, each player, is how we develop and coach each individual into the best player or coach they can be.
The following table lists some of the most important skills under each state that US OF SPORT endeavours to develop, nurture and strengthen.
